How does the Aer Matic device work at various settings?

There are 3 settings available in Aer Matic device - 10 minutes / 20 minutes / 40 minutes. If you set the device to 10 minutes for example, you will observe the first spray in 10 seconds and subsequent sprays at the interval of 10 minutes. Likewise with the 20 and 40 minute setting.
